Dr. Masaru Emoto
Dr.Emoto was a doctor of Alternative Medicine. He
did extensive research on different aspects of water. He became widely known after the publication
of his book Messages from Water which was about his observations from
the water crystal experiment. His discovery proved that water is deeply
connected to our individual and collective consiousness.
The Water Experiment
Dr.Emoto used distilled (pure) water for his
experiment to photograph the water
crystals. He set the water under positive and negative influences. Then he
froze them and used a microscope to see the water molecules. The crystals that
appeared were complete and beautifully shaped when they were put under positive
influences, while the water crystals that went though negative influences were
malformed. As a result, Dr.Emoto was able to introduce the idea that water not
only reflects the physical world around it, but it also reflects the
consciousness of the being surrounding it.

The experiment
consisted of several different kinds of frozen water observations:
saying prayers, saying positive and negative words, playing different genres of
music, showing pictures. All of them were done to water, and the results were
all different.
